Contract Templates
Maple Contracts allow you to create different contract templates to meet all your sales needs. These templates can be customized to dynamically include all the variables and inputs added to the contract.
To create or customize a contract template, go to Settings > Contracts > Templates
Create a new template by clicking on ”+ Create Template” or edit an existing template by clicking “Edit” in the template list.
You can now add all the contract text and include the required variables. Maple contract’s variables fall into the following categories:
- Customer: Information related to the customer the contract is being created for such as Org Name, Customer Name, Email etc
- Signatory: Information related to the external signatories that will be required to sign the contract
- Counter Signatory: Information related to the internal/counter signatories that will be required to sign the contract
Note: If a contract requires multiple external signatures or a counter signature, the required variables need to be added to the template for the associated input fields to be displayed on the contract creation page.
- Contract: Details about the contract terms such as Pricing Information, Start Fate, Net Terms etc
- Company: Information related to your company such as Legal Name, Address, Contact Information etc
