Custom Tax Rules

Enable Tax Collection

To enable tax collection,

  • go to Settings > Taxes
  • from the dropdown, select Automatically Collect Taxes
  • Click Update

Custom Tax Override Per Customer

If some customers fall into a non-standard tax bracket, you can set up a customer level tax override to charge them the correct tax amount.

For example, when working with a non-profit customer, you can set up an override to charge 0% tax.

To add a custom tax rate,

  • Go to Customers > Select the required customer
  • In the Taxes section, click on Manually Manage
  • Select the tax Type, enter the tax amount in Rate
  • Click Add
